At Riverside, we employ a systematic methodology that involves analysis over emotion. By using our systematic approach to analyzing the markets, we are able to stack the odds in our favor whereby developing a thesis based on the Weight of the Evidence. By assessing the Weight of the Evidence, we can develop a non biased thesis current market posture and position ourselves accordingly based on the current facts in hand.
Each week we evaluate whether current price action aligns with our market thesis. When the answer is yes, we can continue along our current path. When the answer is no, we must question the validity of the thesis and make alternate arrangements to our plan. This systematic approach provides excellent risk management whereby enabling us to distinguish between Volatility to Ignore vs Volatility to Respect.
Using this approach, is how we help hands on, self directed investors make educated allocation decisions.
